Job Description

The Associate Manager – Finance & Accounts will drive accounting, system controls, finance operations, and reporting for revenue and costs. Responsibilities include developing an understanding of revenue and cost drivers, preparing monthly financial metrics, conducting variance analysis, evaluating and devising processes and internal controls, system testing, and ensuring compliance. The role also involves setting up reconciliations, managing working capital, preparing cash flow projections, MIS reporting, coordinating with auditors, and automating workflows. A strong technical background with IFRS/IND AS/US GAAP knowledge is required. Experience in Fintech/Lending/NBFC is advantageous.

  • IFRS/IND AS/US GAAP accounting knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Revenue and cost accounting and reporting

Position Purpose
The role will have primary responsibilities to drive accounting, system controls, Finance Operations and reporting for Revenue and Costs.

Job Role / Responsibilities
- Develop clear understanding of revenue and cost drivers, preparation of monthly financial metrics and financials for the entity and provide variance, value add analysis and support stakeholders.
- To evaluate &; devise appropriate processes & internal controls framework to exercise effective financial control related to the direct costs for the company’s operations and to ensure compliance with regulatory/Group requirements and to highlight any gaps to appropriate forums for quick resolution of the issues.
- System testing & process controls review during implementation of Revenue and Cost systems.
- Responsible for setting up reconciliations of all fund movements, setting up of the process and workflows, monitoring them closely, and ensure complete compliance with the Laws of the Land.
- Must have a fair understanding of digital lending guidelines
- Create and maintain Revenue metrics for the management.
- Identify the observations/issues/control gaps in the System/money movement/ Invoicing/collections process and highlight it to the management.
-  Accounting and reporting of Revenue & Costs in line with IFRS/ US GAAP requirements.
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring adequate management of working capital and preparation for cashflow projections associated with fund management.

- MIS reporting for internal & external stakeholders.
- Coordination and dealing with the Auditors (statutory & internal) for quarterly/ annual audits resulting in improvement of controls in various business and support functions.
- Build, develop and maintain necessary dashboards for review and analysis of money flows.
- Automation of existing workflows impacting accounting and reporting and reduce inefficiencies/ redundancies in the processes being followed.

Ideal Candidate
Experience/ Exposure
● A strong technical background with knowledge of IFRS/IND AS/US GAAP accounting.
● Excellent analytical and communication skills.
● Review of System controls and IT risk assessment.
● Ability to work in a diverse and cross-functional environment.
● Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google sheets, Presentation.
● Experience in the field of Fintech/ Lending/ NBFC is an added advantage.

Education/ Qualification
● Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 3-4 yrs. of post qualification work experience
