ABOUT THE POSITION
Our studio is continuing to grow, and with new and exciting projects coming in, we are seeking a passionate Associate Producer with strong communication/organisation skills, and keen desire to learn.
You'll play a key role in the planning and delivery of technical features for video games, coordinate with our Senior Producers, development team and partner studios, and drive some of the most exciting AAA titles in the video game industry.
This position would suit a recent Graduate or experienced professional who is an ambitions person, wishing to take their first steps in the highly rewarding gaming industry as part of a people orientated company.
Responsibilities
- Assist the production team with the day-to-day running of projects, as well as internal and external communication throughout the game development process, ensuring the highest quality product is delivered to the agreed schedule.
- Engage with department leads and the development team to define project requirements, resource needs, and establish/track task schedules.
- Assist the coordination of team activities to ensure that project tasks are prioritised and completed according to established roadmaps.
- Support with setting project goals/tasks and associated milestones, with consideration of project scope and constraints.
- Provide ongoing ad hoc support to the Senior Producer, who will be managing multiple projects.
- Collaborate with development teams to assist in removing blockers during production.
- Generate reports and documents needed to keep visibility on key aspects of the project.
- Ensure timely delivery of assets and milestones and participate in review meetings.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in an associated field (Software Engineering, Game Design, Project Management, Art, Audio, Business etc) or professional experience in a complementary role.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, utilizing fluent oral and written communication (English).
- Strong leadership skills with ability to drive various functions through the whole development process.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall and Agile).
- Passion for discovering tools and technologies involved in production of Video Games.
- Creative and pragmatic, with the ability to find the best solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project development.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and possess high levels of self-motivation.
- A keen eye for detail with high standards of work and a commitment to the development process.
- Ability/experience regarding stakeholder management to enable effective and frequent communication with developers, artists, management and clients.
- Knowledge/interest in software development processes, project management, and risk mitigation.
- Proactive and positive attitude with the willingness to support the team and project.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to deliver quality projects within tight deadlines.
