Position at DNEG

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects to create and maintain artists' toolsets. This role involves close partnership with the Helix Roadmap team and Software Development Managers to assemble and manage the Product team's roadmap. Additionally, the Program Manager collaborates with senior stakeholders in different company divisions to drive long-term development initiatives for the DNEG pipeline, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and continuous innovation.


Needs to Do
Plan and schedule technology and workflow development in accordance with available resources, clearly reporting on this information to other areas within Dneg.
With the SDMs, forecast resource needs for development projects. Ensure projects are delivered within the scope of resources available.
Report to division leadership and escalate issues when necessary.
Responsible for fostering relationships between technology areas, ensuring development progress is transparent and the atmosphere cordial.
Involved in strategic planning for current and upcoming projects with the Technology leadership team.
Organize project documentation and follow process needed for capitalization and tax credits

Needs to Know
Project management – proven ability in managing projects from concept to completion. Able to prioritize appropriately.
Excellent teamwork – ability to assemble and motivate teams and work effectively with others.
Strong written & verbal communication –ability to interact with and integrate requests of the Supervisors.
Organisation – demonstrated organisational skills, including a strong attention to detail.
Strong problem solving skills.
Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Able to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
Appropriately elevate issues and solutions to studio leadership.
Work to understand the wants and needs of all teams to help prioritize workloads on a short- and long-term basis.
