Implement (MATLAB/Simulink) power stage loss and thermal models for traction inverter applications.
Leverage the traction inverter model to produce repeatable and dependable results to drive vehicle architecture initiatives and roadmaps.
Maintain and grow organically the capabilities of the model - software architecture.
Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, PCBA, and firmware engineering teams to identify the limits of traction inverter performance.
M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with power converter modelling in MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience working with, developing, and maintaining custom software source code.
Good understanding of switching waveforms, semiconductor losses and thermal behavior of power components.
Experience with Git/Github.
Additional Preferred Skills
Knowledge of electric machines, thermal design, and mechanical design.
