The candidate will develop testable, reusable, and efficient code, contributing to enhancements and stabilization of the product. Strong analytical and debugging skills are essential. The role involves working with Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web API, etc.) and potentially Dynamics 365 and Azure services.
Must have:
  • BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in SaaS development
  • Strong C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core skills
  • Web API, MVC experience
  • RDBMS understanding
  • Unit testing and debugging
  • Agile methodology experience
Good to have:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365
  • Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Apps experience
  • React or similar UI framework experience
  • Experience integrating with third-party ISVs

The Senior Associate Software Developer will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality solutions to the higher education community. This role requires collaboration, analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance to ensure the best possible outcomes for our products.

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing business requirements, discussing impacted areas, suggesting solutions, and providing multiple alternatives to resolve issues/areas of concern
  • Coding and performing unit testing of enhancements in the Product Suite
  • Stabilization and maintenance of the Product Suite, analyzing root causes of issues, and suggesting areas for improvement
  • Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies, providing constructive suggestions and input
  • Developing testable, reusable, efficient, and legible code for enhancements in the Product Suite

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • BE/BTech/MCA degree or above in computer science/ IT or equivalent functional experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in commercial software Development in a SaaS-based company
  • Strong technical background on Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET) with experience in web-based application development
  • Hands-on experience in.NET/.NET Core, MVC, Web API, WC
  • Experience in jQuery, React or equivalent UI Frameworks
  • Understanding of RDBMS
  • Experience with Dynamics 365: Solutions Building, Layering and Publishers, Schema, Workflow, Business Rules, and Plugins
  • Experience with Flow/Power Automate with connectors
  • Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Apps experience
  • Experience integrating with third-party ISVs
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven experience in software development and a solid understanding of programming concepts
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and provide viable technical solutions and discuss impacted areas
  • Ability to suggest solutions and multiple alternatives to resolve issues and areas of concern
  • Strong coding skills, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Experience with unit testing and debugging
  • Familiarity with SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
  • Ability to participate in SCRUM ceremonies, providing constructive suggestions and input
  • Ability to actively contribute to team commitments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  •  Experience in working on Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 on customization
