We are Spliced Inc. and we’re looking for an Associate Sound Designer.
Reporting directly into the Audio Director, you will play a critical role in concepting, recording, designing and implementing world-class audio into a AAA game.
This role will see you collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers to bring the game to life and will contribute towards creating compelling experiences for our players. Additionally:
About the Role
Work with the audio, cinematics, and design departments, helping bring assets to life from weapons to character voice overs
Be a part of driving of the audio departments technology developments, helping ensure that our games are at the forefront of game audio
Assist production in managing and tracking tasks, ensuring that they are completed according to the established timelines and quality standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including task lists, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
About You:
SERIOUSLY passionate about in game audio!
You will have a very good understanding of the basics of studio techniques such as EQ, dynamic range, compression techniques and multi-channel audio formats.
Experience with game audio implementation software, such as Wwise, Fmod, or similar 1st/3rd party tools.
Willingness to embrace and learn middleware audio tools (Unreal, Wwise etc.)
Bachelor's degree in digital and analog audio production/engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of at least one industry standard DAW (Logic, Cubase, Protools, Nuendo, Reaper, Ableton)
