Job Description

This role involves administering and configuring the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) for software development lifecycle automation. Responsibilities include automating business processes, implementing new functionality using Jira features or third-party solutions, maintaining applications, troubleshooting failures, and updating documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Unix/Linux administration, scripting (Bash, Groovy, Python, or Go), ScriptRunner, Atlassian REST API, and SQL. Experience with Tomcat Server configuration, JVM tuning, and UI configuration within Jira and Confluence is crucial. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team using Agile methodologies.

Must have:

Unix/Linux admin (Debian/RHEL)
Scripting (Bash, Groovy, Python, Go)
ScriptRunner expertise
Jira/Confluence admin & configuration
Atlassian REST API experience
SQL (DML)
Tomcat/JVM tuning

Good to have:

Bamboo, Bitbucket, Crowd configuration
JMX
Javascript, HTML, CSS basics
Network, mail, firewall, nginx configuration
Atlassian certifications

Project description

Atlassian stack platform for software development lifecycle automation&support

Responsibilities

Administration and configuration of Atlassian Jira applications (setting up all kinds of configuration elements), Confluence;

Business processes automatization based on provided requirements;

Research and development/implementing new functionality based on JIRA features or third-party solutions;

Participation in the preparation and updating of applications and their functional elements;

Application maintenance, failure analysis and troubleshooting;

Maintain project documentation up to date;

Skills

Must have

Experience of administration Unix or Linux Debian/RHEL-based systems (ssh; console mode; logs; file system, regexp, sed/awk);

Advance knowledge of scripting languages (bash or groovy/python/go);

Scriptrunner (behaviors, script post-functions, console scripts, etc);

Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP;

SQL: DML (select, update etc);

Strong experience of installing JIRA, Confluence, Crowd, Bitbucket etc (Tomcat Server Configuration/tuning and JVM performance tuning);

UI-configuration (JIRA project schemes, workflows, screens, fields, notifications; confluence spaces);

Security settings (application/project access, permissions, security levels);

Data and configurations import/export;

Practical experience of using Atlassian REST API, JIRA Server API;

GIT basics;

Nice to have

Experience of configuration Bamboo, Bitbucket, Crowd;

JMX;

Javascript, HTML, CSS basics;

Configuration of network, mail, firewall, nginx.

To be able to work with geographically spread team, agile methodology;

Atlassian JIRA/Confluence certification;
