Job Description:
As an Audio Designer for combat video games, you will shape the auditory landscape of our projects, crafting immersive soundscapes that captivate players. Your expertise in sound design will be crucial in creating engaging experiences that enhance gameplay. Collaborating within a dynamic team that values creativity, you will push the boundaries of game audio. Your work will directly influence player interaction, making each moment impactful and memorable.
What You Will Do:
- Design and create soundscapes and audio assets focused on enhancing combat gameplay.
- Use audio consoles and sound editing software to produce high-quality sound effects.
- Integrate audio assets into game engines such as Wwise and Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with sound effects specialists and game designers to develop the audio vision.
- Participate in creative discussions to brainstorm and refine audio concepts.
- Plan and manage the production schedule for audio assets, meeting project deadlines.
- Document and manage audio resources, tools, and workflows.
- Conduct playtests to evaluate audio integration within the game.
- Gather and implement feedback to optimize sound quality and performance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in audio design for video games, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in sound design for combat scenarios.
- Proficiency in using audio tools and software, including Wwise, Unreal Engine, and various sound editing platforms.
- Solid understanding of audio production techniques and a keen ear for detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity.
