Develop and optimize audio processing algorithms (including encoding, decoding, and filtering), implement and improve noise suppression algorithms, manage integration and development of audio standards and APIs (AC97, HD Audio, True Audio Next), work directly with audio drivers and multiplexors, collaborate with cross-functional teams, research and apply new techniques to improve audio processing performance. The role requires deep technical expertise in audio subsystems across Windows and Linux platforms and the ability to work closely with hardware to manage audio drivers and multiplexors. This is a senior-level position requiring proven experience in audio processing development.
Must have:

Project description

We are seeking an experienced Audio Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and optimization of audio processing technologies. This role requires deep technical expertise in audio subsystems across Windows and Linux platforms and the ability to work closely with hardware to manage audio drivers and multiplexors.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize audio processing algorithms (including encoding, decoding, and filtering

Implement and improve noise suppression algorithms to enhance audio quality

Manage integration and development of audio standards and APIs such as AC97, HD Audio, and True Audio Next

Work directly with audio drivers and multiplexors at a low level to ensure seamless audio functionality

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product specifications and deadlines

Continuously research and apply new techniques and technologies to improve audio processing performance

Skills

Must have

Proven experience in audio processing development

Strong knowledge of audio subsystems for Windows and Linux

Proficiency in working with audio drivers and multiplexors at a low level

Deep understanding of audio quality metrics and noise suppression algorithms

Familiarity with audio standards and APIs like AC97, HD Audio, and True Audio Next

Nice to have

Experience with advanced audio processing algorithms such as spatial audio and 3D audio technologies

Familiarity with hardware-accelerated audio processing
