Job Description
This is a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a Construction Mechanic (m/w/d) starting August 1st, 2025, in Prüm, Germany. The apprenticeship involves practical training with experienced instructors, covering CNC operation (bending and laser), assembly of parts and large machinery, various welding techniques, and materials science. Apprentices will be integrated into ongoing projects and production. The program includes above-average compensation with 13 monthly payments, 30 days of annual leave, and company participation. The vocational school is the Berufsbildungszentrum and BBS Prüm in the first year, then BBS Gerolstein from the second year.
Must have:
- Realschulabschluss (or equivalent)
- Good grades in physics, chemistry, math
- Technical aptitude
- Metalworking experience
- Hand-eye coordination
- Spatial reasoning

Ausbildungsinhalte:
- Einrichten und Bedienen von CNC-gesteuerten Kant– und Laseranlagen
- Herstellen, fügen und montieren von kleineren Einzelteilen bis hin zu großen Maschinengestellen
- Erlernen und Anwendung aller gängigen Schweißverfahren
- Werkstoffkunde / Materialhandhabung
Das Besondere: Starke Integration in die aktuellen Projekte und Fertigung.
- Mindestens einen Realschulabschluss mit guten Leistungen in Physik, Chemie und Mathe
- Technisch - physikalisches Interesse und Grundverständnis
- Freude im Umgang mit Metall
- Handwerkliches Geschick sowie räumliches Vorstellungsvermögen
