Job Description

This is a 3.5-year apprenticeship in Mechatronics (Maintenance) based in Prüm, Germany, starting August 1st, 2025. The program includes practical training with experienced instructors, covering tasks such as repairing machinery, reading technical drawings and schematics, assembling/disassembling complex equipment, setting up electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic controls, process monitoring, quality control, and commissioning. The apprenticeship offers opportunities for long-term employment with project responsibility and career advancement, along with above-average compensation including 13 monthly salaries, 30 days of annual leave, and company participation. Successful candidates will be integrated into the daily work of the maintenance department in a modern production facility.

Must have:

Realschulabschluss or equivalent
Good grades in Physics, Math, English
Structured, independent work style
Teamwork skills
Technical problem-solving aptitude
Understanding of electronics
Technical-physical interest

What You’ll Do

Überprüfen und Reparieren unseres Maschinenparks sowie Lesen, Verstehen und Anwenden von technischen Zeichnungen und Schaltplänen.
Zusammenbauen und Auseinandernehmen komplexer Maschinen und Anlagen, einschließlich der Integration empfindlicher Technologien wie Lichtschranken.
Einrichten elektrischer, pneumatischer und hydraulischer Steuerungen.
Überwachen von Prozessen, Durchführen von Qualitätskontrollen und Funktionstests sowie anschließende Inbetriebnahme der Anlagen.
