This is a dual apprenticeship and practice-oriented program for mechanical engineering in Prüm, starting August 1st, 2025. It offers a 3.5-year or 4.5-year option. The 3.5-year option involves studying at DHBW Mannheim/Hochschule Trier from year 1. The 4.5-year option includes an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (Bebiz Prüm, year 1) or technical product designer (BBS Trier, year 1), followed by studies at Hochschule Trier. Responsibilities include mechanical design using CAD, creating technical drawings and documentation, practical work, supporting production plant commissioning, and insights into project and quality management. Strong integration into ongoing projects and assembly teams is emphasized.
