Automated Test Engineer

Rapid Images challenges traditional image presentation by creating a visual and interactive customer experience by using innovative and modern 3D technologies. We generate business by providing CGI based solutions such as images, configurators and 3D products. All tailored to fit our customers varied needs. We do exciting projects for market leading companies across a variety of industries. The company is expanding and is located in the cultural- and industrially significant building Sockerbruket in Göteborg. Even though we are about 100 colleagues and constantly growing, there is still a small company feel at Rapid, with a flat organisation and easy-going atmosphere. As Software Engineer at Rapid, you will work with modern web development. You will work in a team of skilled and driven engineers with a learning work environment. You will work in a wide front with Microservices. We see that you can review code, mentor our junior developers and perhaps take a leading role within the team. We highly value if you have experience within 3D development.

We are looking for someone with experience in the following tech stack:

• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• Cypress
• Jest
• SauceLabs
• Xray/Zephyr
• Node.js
• Docker

Skills that are advantageous:

• ImageMagick, GraphicsMagic or Sharp
• React
• Cucumber
• Gherkin
• Can query a relational or non-relational database

You have a great understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress. We believe that you have a bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, software development, or a related field. You should also have a couple of years of previous experience as a software engineer and were focusing primarily on automated testing as of last. As a person you can work independently and show results but at the same time be able to collaborate in a Scrum team. As the company faces growth, we are looking for a person who's driven, committed and has a desire to be involved by contributing visionary ideas and continuing to develop our way of working in the right direction.
