Job Description

The Automation Test Engineer will design, develop, and execute automation scripts. They will perform functional and regression testing, identify and track software defects, and collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Responsibilities also include writing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases, troubleshooting and debugging automation scripts, reviewing test cases, and participating in agile sprint planning and retrospectives.
Must Have:
  • Proficient in Selenium, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with API testing and database testing
  • Strong knowledge of software testing and quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience with Selenium and Java
  • Ability to write clean and reusable code
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Write, maintain, and execute automated test cases
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts
  • Review test cases and provide feedback
  • Participate in agile sprint planning and retrospectives

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
