Azure DevOps Specialist

Work Experience Requirements:

·       Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and related technologies

·       Azure Infrastructure- Azure IaaS and PaaS in compute, storage and networking, Azure Subscriptions - experience of leveraging the same and designing, implementing, and deploying Business Mission Critical applications

·       Knowledge on Networking - VNet, ExpressRoute, vWAN, Ingress/Egress patterns and services, NVAs.

·       Azure DevOps, CICD Pipelines: Design and Implementation experience

·       Azure Infrastructure (IaaS) code development and implementation: DevOps Terraform Code development, Create Repos and deployment thru CICD experience.

·       Azure App Services (PaaS), Web Services (PaaS) and Azure SQL (IaaS and PaaS) DBs, code development and implementation: DevOps Terraform Code development, Create Repos and deployment thru CICD experience.

·       "Infra As Code (IaC)": Design and Implementation experience

·       Experience in Azure landing zone design and implementation

·       Must Have technical abilities/qualifications working knowledge of Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and WAF

·       Good Understanding of developing YAML pipelines, variable groups, Environments, Approvals and multi stage pipeline.

·       Good Understanding on Modular Bicep templates, developing and deploying Azure Infra using Bicep templates

·       Experience in  Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to manage, deploy, and optimize containerized applications on Azure's Kubernetes platform. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of AKS, including cluster configuration, scaling, and security

·       GitLab, GitHub (Repo),Jekins: Design and Implementation experience

·       GitHub Actions (Orchestration): Design and Implementation experience

·       Cloud Migration/Tenant to Tenant migration – Assessment, Planning and Migration

·       Serve as the primary DevOps point of contact for migration partners and application teams, providing guidance on processes.

·       Proficiency in setting up monitoring solutions and automation processes within Azure.

·       Scripting – PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Template, Terraform

·       Strong knowledge on Helm charts & YAML. Troubleshooting issue in Terraform. Integration of security tools with Terraform. Docker, Image repositories.

Mandatory Skills:

·       Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in using IaC tools and practices to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.

·       DevOps: Strong experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.

·       Docker: Expertise in containerization using Docker, including creating, managing, and deploying Docker containers.

·       Kubernetes: Skilled in deploying, managing, and scaling applications using Kubernetes.

·       Proficiency with tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and other related technologies.

·       Terraform: Proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure automation and orchestration in Azure environments.

·       Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.

·       Knowledge of integrating machine learning models into operational workflows.

·       Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

·       Expertise in Azure infrastructure and Platform Design, Deployment using Infrastructure as a code, Terraform dev expert.

·       Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.

·       Configure and manage Azure DevOps services, including source control, build agents, and release pipelines.

·       Maintain and enhance infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Terraform.

·       Good hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure components (server, storage, network, database, and Monitoring tool for Azure Monitor) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure engagements that includes assessment, design and migrations.

·       Azure Networking Experience (VNET, Subnet, Load Balancing, VNET peering, VPN)

·       Operating system: Good knowledge in Windows and Linux.  Advance knowledge in networking, virtualization, automation, scripting

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills

·       Reliability, Ability to work under pressure and ability to be precise in communication are must

·       Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred certification (if Any):

·       Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

·       Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

·       Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Good to have skills:

·       Exposure experience or knowledge in AWS or GCP added advantage
