Job Description

As an Azure Infra & Security Specialist in Microsoft's SMC segment, you'll lead a virtual team to help major clients achieve digital transformation via cloud computing. Responsibilities include exceeding quarterly Azure consumption targets, engaging with senior decision-makers, developing Azure expertise, building compelling business cases, and driving projects to production. You'll evaluate cloud strategies, recommend solutions for application and data migration/modernization, and act as a trusted advisor at the CXO level. This role prioritizes problem-solving, leveraging Microsoft's full capabilities (including AI and data solutions) and contributing to other teams' success. You'll create and implement sales scenarios and analyze their effectiveness across territories.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Japanese language
  • Extensive experience in technology-related sales, consulting or account management experience
  • Proven experience with building strategic transformation roadmaps, solution selling in infrastructure, HCI, DC migration, VDI, security. Experience for Commercial customers is preferable. Having experience with application development tracks, AI and data innovation is considered a plus, however not a must.
  • Leadership. Experience leading large IT/Cloud engagements, especially those involving cross-solution workloads including infrastructure, data migration and application modernization projects.
  • Creating sales scenarios based on the territory analysis and driving them broadly.
  • Azure Infrastructure and Security Services. Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform with emphasis on Microsoft Infra services, hybrid cloud technologies, developer tools and services and/or complementing solutions.
  • Consumption Project Management. Experience leveraging cloud adoption methodologies and frameworks to structure application migration projects - nice to have
  • Prior work experience in a Consulting/Solutions Sales position working with Infra solutions ranging from IaaS, VMware, VDI, NW, SAP, Hybrid Cloud and Security solutions
  • Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud and datacenter infrastructure competitor landscape e.g., AWS and GCP, among others

Responsibilities

As an Azure Infra&Security Specialist, you are a business leader with technical expertise working with our most important managed customers.

You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers realize digital transformation through cloud computing achieve/exceed quarterly Azure consumption targets for related workloads in your assigned accounts.

 

You possess both a high EQ with executive presence, able to engage with senior decision makers to uncover digital transformation initiatives, and a passion to learning how Azure cloud services can deliver digital transformation.

You will develop and maintain an Azure  expertise, able to identify projects, build a compelling business case, and drive the consumption project to production.

You will build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level with technology decision makers.

You will help customers evaluate their cloud strategy, determine approaches to application and data migration and modernization, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.
