Job Description

This role involves expanding a bank's Murex Treasury platform back-office team. Responsibilities include transforming source data into Murex-compatible MxML format, creating MxML import/export workflows, documenting functional and technical specifications, producing exception reports, configuring Murex reports, building custom MxML Exchange tasks, conducting unit testing, supporting SIT/UAT testing, post-deployment fixes, and maintaining documentation. The position requires 5+ years of experience with Murex MX3, MxML, back-office processing, confirmations, settlements, Unix/Linux scripting, and SQL. Agile methodology experience (JIRA, Confluence) is also necessary.

Must have:

5+ years Murex MX3 MxML experience
BO Processing, confirmations, settlements
Unix/Linux scripting, SQL
Technical specification creation
Unit testing and build quality responsibility
Agile methodology (JIRA, Confluence)
SIT/UAT support
Documentation as per client guidelines

Project description

Bank is looking to expand Back office Murex team to work on new product onboarding program running on Murex Treasury platform

Responsibilities

Write transformation logic for source data format to Murex understandable format (MxML)

Create MxML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange

Document Functional, Technical Specification and Test Cases for integration

Produce exception reports for failures

Configure and Build Murex Reports for reports based interfaces

Build custom tasks in MxML Exchange for specific processing not available through standard task library

Skills

Must have

5+ years of experience in Murex MX3 MxML, BO Processing, confirmations, settlements

Unix/Linux scripting, SQL

Able to work independently

Prepare Technical specification for the given requirements.

Deliver the allocated build items for signed off technical specification highlighted in item2.

Conduct Unit Testing by taking full responsibility of the build quality.

Experience in agile methodology and tools like JIRA, Confluence

Support Testing phases from SIT/UAT.

Post deployment fixes and handover to BAU.

To provide proper documentation for the overall build as per the client internal guidelines.

To follow delivery processes as mandated by client internal guidelines.
