The Back Office Solution Lead will be responsible for providing professional delivery solutions for clients around the world. This includes understanding clients’ business requirements, defining scope, creating user stories, developing best practices, and designing solutions. The role involves working closely with other departments, ensuring successful project implementation, and training team members. The responsibilities include participating in pre-sales activities, blueprint and implementation phases, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The candidate should possess expertise in various asset classes and post-trade processing topics, along with strong communication and analytical skills.
Must have:
  • Solution Designer experience in Back Office consultancy.
  • Expertise in FX, FI/MM, IRD, FXD, CRD, EQD, CMD.
  • Expertise in post-trade processing topics.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Proficiency in English.
Good to have:
  • Understanding of Front-To-Back Business Units.

We are currently seeking a Back Office Solution Lead to join our Solution team in Stockholm!

The Solution team is composed of expert financial professionals who provide professional delivery solutions for our clients around the world. Team members are responsible for understanding clients’ business requirements into the capabilities of the Calypso software, responding to a wide variety of methodology and financial technical questions (FinTech Division). The Solution team works closely with other Company Departments to ensure a successful project (Sales, Engineer, Products, etc).

Your responsibilities will look like:

  • Participate in Pre-sales specific activities of potential large scale

  • Participate in blueprint and other implementation phases and assist on

  • Defining scope as per Capital Market Taxonomy : Assist with questions to be asked

  • Features & user story creation

  • Develop best practices for blueprint/business requirements

  • Implementation plan – designing the solution

  • Ensure best practices are followed across projects

  • Work on training team members to develop competency across all divisions

What we expect from you:

  • Previous role as a Solution Designer in Back Office consultancy within the capital markets industry.

  • Expertise in all asset classes: FX, FI/MM, IRD, FXD, CRD, EQD, CMD.

  • Expertise in Post trade processing topics : settlement, confirmations, collateral, settlement messages, trade life cycle.

  • Ability to simplify complex ideas.

  • Proficiency in English (other language is a plus).

  • Strategic approach with the ability to anticipate future trends.

  • Customer focused, effectively communicating requirements and functionalities.

  • Collaborative great teammate.

  • Desirable: Understanding of Front-To-Back Business Units.

  • Personal attributes: Analytical thinking, results-driven, effective communication, team-oriented, transparent and accountable.

  • Availability to travel: available to travel up to 25% of the time to meet clients onsite as required.

This role is based in Stockholm but may involve international travel to our other offices and clients. The company allows the flexibility to work half a week on-site and remotely (Hybrid model).
