As an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager in Paytm's Offline Payments Operation (Banking Ops) team, you'll ensure smooth functioning of the POS merchant payments ecosystem. Responsibilities include mapping POS payment instruments (cards, bank EMI, MBID, TIDs), collaborating with internal and bank partners, developing scalable solutions, managing teams, implementing project plans, maintaining SOPs, automating processes, and mitigating risks. You'll engage with various teams to maintain high standards in the POS payment ecosystem and possess basic knowledge of POS machines and devices.
Must have:
- Ensure smooth POS merchant payment ecosystem functioning
- Map POS payment instruments (cards, EMI, MBID, TIDs)
- Collaborate with internal and bank partners
- Develop scalable solutions for POS merchants
- Manage teams with 100% accuracy

Title : Asstt Manager/ Deputy Manager – Banking Operations Offline

About the team:
You will be part of OCL (One97 Communication Ltd),Offline Payments Operation(Banking ops) team which
facilitates POS merchants to offer world class payment experience.
This team is responsible for the highest standards of facilitating payments across multiple Bank acquirings for
our POS merchants ensuring best banking partnerships with minimal risk and fraud.
About the role:
* Responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of the POS merchant payments ecosystem.
* Responsible for mapping of POS payments instruments like CARDS (CC & DC) ,Bank EMI,MBID and
TIDs configuration etc.
* Cross function collaboration with internal business stakeholders as well with Bank partners.
* Develop robust and scalable solutions to POS merchants.
* Ensuring cost optimized team management with 100% accuracy
* Develop and Implement comprehensive project plans along with key stakeholders
* Responsible for SOP maintenance, version control, Implementation and Adherence
* Find the scope of automation of manual processes specifically and ensure the successful completion
of short- and long-term goals of organization
* Engage with various Business, Product, Compliance, Finance, Technology Teams within Paytm to help
mitigating risk as well as maintaining highest standards of the POS payment ecosystem.
* Basic knowledge about POS machines,Devices type and device ecosystem.
Expectations/ Requirements
* Masters’ Degree with 5+ years of experience in similar roles (Preferable in payments industry )
* Must have good understanding of POS payment ecosystem..
* Should possess fair understanding of payments solutions ( POS/ Payment Acquiring, Aggregation
business,Digital payments etc.) and related regulations
* Lead by example with proven leadership style.
* Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills
* Hands On experience in MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint skills
* Proficiency on Data analytic tools (SQL, Python, Power BI etc) will be a plus
