Team Introduction
Performance & Incentives (P&I) are powerful tools for furthering the company's strategic goals. A robust Performance & Incentives (P&I) strategy influences the organization's ability to attract and retain the best talent, while creating a strong alignment of individuals' interests with the organization's strategic goals. The Performance & Incentives team at ByteDance, therefore, are constantly benchmarking and striving for the best practice & return on investment in developing competitive C&B policies. The Performance & Incentives team works on a lot of interesting problems. Whether it is developing new world-class compensation policies, diving deep into market research, analyzing big data and benchmarking. The Performance & Incentives team work on a lot of cool and exciting projects to come up with the best ways to serve our organization. Given the nature of our work, it also creates huge opportunities for collaboration with departments in and outside of the HR organization.
Responsibilities
1. Design and review of benefits packages and policies for LATAM region including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico to ensure adequacy, compliance and competitiveness;
2. Responsible for benefits program design, review, implementation and communication based on the benefits philosophy and design principles of the company;
3. Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR Ops, HRBPs, Legal, etc.) and external vendors (brokers and insurers) on project delivery;
4. Monitor local legislation updates, and work closely with legal team to make sure the policies comply with local regulations;
5. Handle escalations together with HR Ops/HRBPs and advise on the benefits policies and solutions;
6. Contribute to global projects and roll out global initiatives with local context in mind.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Strong analytical and market research capabilities: gather market data, analyze trends, and conduct surveys;
2. Great communication skills: be able to communicate effectively with employees, the broad HR team and business lead & also be comfortable presenting programs and plans to employee groups, HR and leadership teams;
3. Great report writing skills: be able to write proposals based on research and analysis, which is presentable to stakeholders;
4. Working proficiency in English, Portuguese and Spanish as the role will cover LATAM region;
5. Strong ownership, ethics and discretion: be able to reach the goal with mission. Deal with confidential information and therefore, must be ethical and discrete when it comes to handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferably to have at least 5 years of experience in HR/Benefits area, experience in-house is preferred.
