Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the timely submission of proposals by coordinating the entire bidding process and maintaining organized documentation
- Propose and implement more efficient bidding processes to streamline operations and improve outcomes
- Take the lead in developing and implementing a seamless prelim bidding process, leveraging your experience to ensure smoother transitions and faster proposal submissions
- Clearly articulate project scopes and break down tasks into specific disciplines required for completion.
- Provide highly accurate bid numbers and financial estimates
- Lead the collaboration with producers, production managers, and creatives to develop and implement cohesive bidding strategies
- Gather and clarify necessary information from creative teams for accurate bid submissions
- Schedule and facilitate bid-related meetings and discussions to keep all stakeholders informed
- Serve as the primary contact for all bid-related inquiries, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Track the availability and capacity of VFX partners to ensure optimal project staffing
- Assist in identifying and onboarding external resources as needed
- Maintain and update databases related to bids and resources, and generate detailed reports on bid outcomes and resource utilization
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience within a VFX studio or production house
- Experience in vendor management is a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (including Word and Excel) and ShotGrid
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of resource management principles
- Familiarity with bidding processes and current industry trends
