Job Description

Join Tesla's Body Repair Program in Auckland and become a Body Repair Assembly Technician. Assist technicians in structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles (Models S, 3, X, & Y), following Tesla's repair procedures. Reassemble panels to as-new condition, test for safety and operability, and clean/polish vehicles before customer collection. This is an excellent opportunity for apprentices in panel beating, painting, or mechanics, with full training and support provided. You'll utilize cutting-edge tools and eco-friendly processes, contributing to Tesla's innovative approach to automotive repair.

Must have:

1+ years automotive experience or similar
Excellent communication & teamwork skills
Reliable, innovative, and collaborative
Valid driver's license
Basic computer literacy

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious technician in the early stages of their (panelbeating, painting or mechanical) apprenticeship. We will offer full support, training and guidance towards your chosen career path.

What You’ll Do

Assist Techicians and wider team to complete structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Models S, 3, X & Y vehicles in accordance with Tesla specific repair procedures
Reassemble vehicle panels in accordance with documented procedures to as-new condition
Test and evaulate reassembly for safety and operability
Cleaning and polishing vehicles after repairs and preparing vehicles for customer collection

What You’ll Bring

1+ years experience in automotive labouring or similar
Excellent attitude and communication skills and enjoys working in a team
Reliable, innovative, driven and collaborative
Clean and valid driver's licence
Willingness to learn
Basic level of computer literacy
