Job Description
Tesla is seeking a Body Repair Assembly Technician in Eagle Farm to join its groundbreaking Body Repair Program. The role involves assisting technicians in completing structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Model S, 3, X, and Y vehicles, adhering to Tesla's specific repair procedures. Responsibilities include reassembling vehicle panels to as-new condition, testing reassembly for safety and operability, cleaning and polishing vehicles post-repair, and preparing vehicles for customer collection. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious technician in the early stages of their apprenticeship (panel beating, painting, or mechanical). Tesla provides full support, training, and guidance.
Must have:
- 1+ years automotive experience or similar
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, innovative, and driven
- Clean and valid driver's license
- Basic computer literacy

What You’ll DoThis is a great opportunity for an ambitious technician in the early stages of their (panelbeating, painting or mechanical) apprenticeship. We will offer full support, training and guidance towards your chosen careerpath.
- Assist Techicians and wider team to complete structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Models S, 3, X & Y vehicles in accordance with Tesla specific repair procedures
- Reassemble vehicle panels in accordance with documented procedures to as-new condition
- Test and evaulate reassembly for safety and operability
- Cleaning and polishing vehicles after repairs and preparing vehicles for customer collection
- 1+ years experience in automotive labouring or similar
- Excellent attitude and communication skills and enjoys working in a team
- Reliable, innovative, driven and collaborative
- Clean and valid driver's licence
- Willingness to learn
- Basic level of computer literacy
