Job Description

Tesla's Body Repair Program seeks a Vehicle Detailer in Eagle Farm to join its team. Responsibilities include performing entry-level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles using advanced tools and eco-friendly processes. The role requires 3+ years of automotive collision repair experience, proficiency in detailing techniques (wet sanding, polishing, buffing, waxing), and the ability to operate various hand and power tools. Additional duties involve maintaining vehicle cleanliness, supporting journeymen technicians, and adhering to detailed record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn new automotive technologies. This is a full-time position.

Must have:

3+ years automotive collision repair experience
Detailing skills (wet sand, polish, buff, wax)
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to follow instructions
Teamwork and record-keeping skills

Good to have:

Retail automotive service experience

What You’ll Do

3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair
Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
Perform equipment inspections and adjustments
Maintain records of time and materials
May order shop supplies and parts as required
Perform other related duties as assigned
Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
Support journeymen technicians as needed
Knowledge of: Methods, techniques for detailing vehicles - wet sand, polish, buff , wax, etc.
Efficient skills in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
