Job Description

Tesla's Body Repair Program seeks a Vehicle Detailer in Eagle Farm. Responsibilities include performing entry-level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles; operating hand, power, and shop tools; maintaining records; ordering supplies; supporting journeymen technicians; and ensuring vehicle cleanliness. Candidates need 3+ years of automotive collision repair experience, knowledge of detailing techniques (wet sanding, polishing, buffing, waxing), and proficiency in basic automotive repair. The role involves following instructions, learning new technologies, maintaining cooperative working relationships, and effective record-keeping. Retail automotive service experience is a plus. This is a full-time position.

Must have:

3+ years automotive collision repair experience
Detailing skills (wet sanding, polishing, etc.)
Proficiency in basic automotive repair
Ability to follow instructions and maintain records

Good to have:

What You’ll Do

3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair
Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
Perform equipment inspections and adjustments
Maintain records of time and materials
May order shop supplies and parts as required
Perform other related duties as assigned
Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
Support journeymen technicians as needed
Knowledge of: Methods, techniques for detailing vehicles - wet sand, polish, buff , wax, etc.
Efficient skills in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
