Job Description

The Brand Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing viral marketing campaigns, focusing on driving genuine engagement and sparking conversations. This includes partnering with advertising agencies, leading the creative process from brainstorming to execution, and owning social media strategies to ensure authentic engagement. The ideal candidate should have experience in digital-first brands and creating campaigns for Tier 2 markets. The Brand Manager will also need to understand digital metrics and community management.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of advertising agency experience.
  • Experience in the creative side of advertising agencies.
Good to have:
  • Experience crafting campaigns aimed at Tier 2 markets.
  • Basic understanding of digital metrics and KPIs.
  • Playing video games.

The company takes immense pride in its premier entertainment properties that include highly popular titles like BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI), Road To Valor: Empires, Defense Derby, New State Mobile. These games have not only captured the hearts of Indian players but have also played a pivotal role in fostering a thriving e-sports ecosystem in the country.

With a focus on India, KRAFTON is dedicated to nurturing the gaming and start-up ecosystem. In line with this commitment, KRAFTON initiated the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) in October 2023. KIGI aims to support 6-10 teams annually with program durations ranging from six months to one year. Additionally, KRAFTON India has invested over $150 million in the Indian market in the past two years and has committed an additional $150 million to the Indian start-up ecosystem over the next three years.

 

[ABOUT THE ROLE]

The Brand Manager needs to really understand what makes a campaign go viral. We're looking for someone who's creatively led award-winning campaigns that cut through the noise. The focus here is on creating buzz, sparking conversations, and driving genuine engagement—not just counting views. Experience in crafting campaigns aimed at Tier 2 markets would be a big plus. Additionally, you should have some experience with digital-first brands. Be ready to share some cool case studies of how you've boosted engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments) rather than just chasing impressions or reach.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

  • Partner closely with advertising agencies to deliver digital films, campaigns and planning.
  • The ability to change directions for an agency mid-way basis consumer feedback, is a must-have. Must understand all ad agency functions inside out.
  • Lead the end-to-end creative process—from initial brainstorming sessions and strategy development to final execution and social media hacks. If you can showcase a Instapage/Youtube channel you’ve grown, you get bonus points.
  • Own social media strategies, ensuring all campaigns drive authentic engagement, conversation, and viral potential rather than merely impressions or reach.
  • Develop campaigns specifically designed to resonate deeply with digital-first audiences, especially those outside metros, including Tier-2 markets. We do expect basic understanding of Gen Z.
  • Has a basic understanding of digital metrics - which translate into a game brand KPIs, and ability to adapt campaigns for business front
  • Ability to build strong community management skills to match brand campaign objectives, ensuring every piece of content/brand piece aligns with our community- owned and KOL led.

[REQUIREMENTS]

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in advertising agencies. Must not have more than 9 years of experience.
  • Will be able to share 2-3 case studies of Digital Brand Campaigns in addition to CV.
  • Must have worked in the Creative side of agencies and not Planning side.
  • Playing videos games is a good to have, but not a must-have
