We’re hiring a Brand Marketing Copywriter for a contract-to-hire role with a leading mutual insurance company based in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work three days per week.

As a Brand Marketing Copywriter, you’ll be an integral part of the creative team—developing compelling content for a wide range of initiatives, from email marketing and direct mail campaigns to internal communications and executive presentations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a trusted brand within a highly collaborative and mission-driven environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, engaging copy for various marketing channels including email campaigns, direct mail, media materials, corporate event communications, and internal presentations.

  • Collaborate with designers and marketing stakeholders to align copy with brand tone and project goals.

  • Develop messaging strategies for both internal and external marketing efforts.

  • Work closely with the creative director and cross-functional teams to manage content reviews and approvals.

  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and tone across all written materials.

  • Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain high standards for quality and accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within corporate, agency, or regulated industries (e.g., insurance, financial services, or healthcare).

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in both digital and print copy.

  • Experience writing for executive-level presentations (design handled separately).

  • Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid, collaborative team.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with writing in regulated industries is a plus.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must last a minimum of 10 weeks.
