Beast Burst, a gaming studio founded in 2020, is seeking a Brand Marketing & Product Manager for their MMORPG, Scars of Honor. This role involves leading the strategic positioning and lifecycle marketing of the game. The manager will be responsible for crafting and evolving the brand, working with creative and live operations teams to build a compelling identity and engage players. Key responsibilities include defining brand positioning, developing go-to-market strategies for milestones, owning live marketing strategies, and collaborating with growth marketing and monetization teams. The role also involves managing a small team of creative marketers and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate will be passionate about MMORPGs, possess an entrepreneurial mindset, and have strong communication and leadership skills.
Must have:
  • 5-8+ years of Gaming experience in brand/product/live marketing
  • Proven track record of launching/operating live games
  • Strong familiarity with MMORPGs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Comfortable in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or management
  • Experience managing a small team and creative marketing roadmap
Good to have:
  • Second language proficiency (German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese)
  • Familiarity with the Mobile gaming ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of platforms like Steam, Epic
  • Knowledge of pop & geek culture

Who are we

Welcome to Beast Burst, a new gaming studio founded in 2020 in Bulgaria. We are happy to work with the entire world as we believe every experience is a great opportunity for our team to grow. Our first project is a MMORPG named Scars of Honor, a community-driven free-to-play game that should release on PC and Mobile in 2026. With 80+ employees, we believe that our team is composed of amazing talents to create a totally new IP but also a new ecosystem with our own digital platform. With hundreds of thousands of players already on board, this is just the beginning of our journey, and we are always on the lookout for new voyagers to join our adventure.


About the role

We’re looking for a passionate and seasoned person to join our marketing team as a Brand Marketing & Product Manager to lead the strategic positioning and lifecycle marketing of our MMORPG. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll be responsible for crafting and evolving the brand, working closely with creative, content, and live operations teams to build a compelling identity, engage our future players, and shape the consumer journey pre- and post-launch. Of course, passion is the key, but we also need someone with an entrepreneurial mindset with professional reflex to be a great fit for this position. Not only should you be a gamer, but you should also understand the current MMORPG audience and market.



Responsibilities

  1. Define and evolve the global brand positioning, narrative, tone, and visual identity of Scars of Honor
  2. Develop and lead the go-to-market strategy for key milestones (alpha, beta, launch, post-launch beats)
  3. Own the live marketing strategy, building campaigns around content updates, in-game events, community activations, and cross-platform storytelling
  4. Collaborate closely with the Growth Marketing team to drive the acquisition efforts, with the Monetization manager to build the store roadmap, and the Communication team to align brand visibility
  5. Manage and mentor a small team of creative marketers (creative marketing, video team) to support our brand content needs and our acquisition assets
  6. Work closely with game developers to become the product champion and understand the key features of the game. Collaborate with community managers, external partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and quality
  7. Monitor KPIs, player feedback, and market trends to optimize live strategies and player engagement



Requirements

  1. 5–8+ years of Gaming experience in brand marketing, product marketing or live marketing, in PC or cross-platform games.
  2. Proven track record of launching and/or operating live games in a senior marketing capacity.
  3. Strong familiarity with MMORPG, either as an active player or a community member, ideally with professional experience on a MMORPG game. PLEASE, do not apply if you don’t know this specific gaming genre, let’s not waste everybody’s time…
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  5. Comfortable working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment with a lot of ownership.
  6. Fluent in English (written & spoken) and bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management.
  7. Experience managing a small team and a creative marketing roadmap


Nice to have

  1. Second language proficiency (German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese) is a plus
  2. A solid familiarity with the Mobile gaming ecosystem
  3. Strong knowledge of platforms and stores such as Steam, Epic, etc.
  4. A pop & geek culture to discuss the last TV show or SDCC announcements and how we can twist it
