Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Asia Pacific Treaty Team (Non-Marine) at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this Senior Broker Support role, you will have the opportunity to develop and expand your senior broking support skills while working in a niche area of the market. You will support our international clients, particularly those based in Japan, and play an integral part in our team by coordinating placement support activities and delivering proactive, valued support.

We will count on you to:

  • Assist with reviews of client renewal information.

  • Draft slips and endorsements.

  • Initiate the contract drafting process, updates, and production of Final Contract Documentation.

  • Assist brokers and prepare submissions, where required.

  • Track placement status of assigned accounts and update information as necessary.

  • Maintain core electronic placement files to ensure compliance with best practice procedures.

  • Respond to client requests for information (reinsurer, financial reports, industry issues, etc.).

  • Onboard new clients and markets.

  • Strong networking abilities.

  • Essential experience in a senior broker support role, particularly with treaty knowledge.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.

  • Familiarity with the London Reinsurance Market: In-depth understanding of the dynamics and operations of the London reinsurance sector.

  • Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and documentation.

  • High level of verbal and written communication abilities, crucial for fostering strong working relationships.
