Job Description

As a Build & Release Engineer at Penrose Studios, you will be crucial in maintaining the infrastructure for building virtual reality experiences. Your role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining build and release tools for a VR production pipeline. You will also create a QA workflow for evaluating VR tools and experiences and integrate new SDKs while upgrading device run-time environments. This requires strong knowledge of C++, software configuration management, and cross-platform software development. Collaboration and attention to detail are essential for ensuring smooth operations within our technical and artist teams, ultimately streamlining the delivery of our VR experiences across various platforms.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of C++.
  • Strong knowledge of software configuration management.
  • Experience developing cross-platform software.
  • Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
Good to have:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience with SDKs and writing plugins for third party applications.
  • Experience developing for and using Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with Android and or iOS development.
  • Experience with game development.

As an build & release engineer, you will play a pivotal role with keeping our technical and artist teams running smoothly by maintaining the infrastructure for building our virtual reality experiences.  We build VR experiences for a large variety of target platforms, and you will help us streamline the process of delivering our experiences on each one.tions managers to provide assistance in the day to day procedures that are integral to our business.

Responsibilities

Requirements
