ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge and technical aptitude to support our client’s Prime Services desk, which offers a full spectrum of trading, clearing, and financing solutions across Listed and OTC Derivatives, FX Prime Brokerage, and LME Metals. You will act as the critical bridge between the business and technology teams, helping to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with traders, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements

• Drive functional design for platforms supporting:

  • Cleared Listed Derivatives

  • Cleared OTC Derivatives

  • FX Prime Brokerage

  • LME Metals Trading

• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specs, process flows, and data mappings

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals

• Engage in system testing, UAT support, and post-implementation reviews

• Support regulatory compliance efforts (e.g., EMIR, Dodd-Frank) through data analysis and reporting knowledge

• Partner with stakeholders to manage project plans, risks, and communication

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Banking, Capital Markets or Prime Brokerage

• Hands-on experience with post-trade systems, clearing workflows, order/execution management systems (OMS/EMS), or market infrastructure (e.g., CCPs, LCH, CME)

• Understanding of margin methodologies, settlement processes, and FX/derivatives clearing

• Familiarity with regulatory reporting standards and FIX protocol

• Excellent communication skills in English — both written and verbal

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex processes into actionable insights

• Experience in Agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus
