  • Ability to present numerical evidence clearly.
  • Understanding how data models work.
  • Eagerness to improve and grow in career.
  • Fluent in English.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is not tied to a specific function but will focus on analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and business performance across multiple regions. You will work closely with country managers to provide actionable insights, helping them drive growth and optimize decision-making in their respective markets.

 

As the main team will be based in Malta, we are looking for a candidate who can work independently and take ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision.

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

 

  • Act as a key analytical partner for country managers, providing insights on market trends, customer behavior, and business performance.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and key drivers of growth across different regions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business metrics, ensuring stakeholders have timely access to critical information.
  • Work cross-functionally with data engineers, marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and to develop analytical solutions that support business needs.
  • Analyze customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies, offering recommendations for optimizing market performance.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions at a regional level.

 

 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

 

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in iGaming, e-commerce, or other digital industries.
  • Strong experience in SQL and Tableau (or any other data visualisation tool)
  • Expertise in gathering data from diverse sources with varying levels of granularity and rawness, performing in-depth analysis, and extracting actionable insights.
  • Ability to respond to complex questions in a simple yet effective manner, presenting numerical evidence in a way that can be easily understood and adopted by business stakeholders with minimal friction
  • Understanding how data models works and evolve combined with the ability to work collaboratively with data engineers and other cross-functional teams in order to improve the number and the quality of the data points
  • Eagerness to continuously improve and grow within your career.
  • Fluent in English.

 

NICE TO HAVES

 

  • Strong academic background is preferred – MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Marketing or other relevant fields
  • Whilst not a prerequisite, candidates with experience in iGaming, Data Modelling, R, Python, will be given preference
  • Familiarity with common statistical analysis concepts (e.g., standard deviation, percentile distribution, A/B testing, test vs. control group experimentation, statistical significance)
  • Advanced data visualization techniques (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
