Job Description

As a Business Analyst at Veeam, you will be responsible for the end-to-end analysis process on Veeam internal projects. You will work with the Web Team and multiple internal business teams to help them get the full value of the existing corporate technological environment. Your tasks include supporting the strategic roadmap, maintaining the development backlog, establishing functional requirements, analyzing business processes, translating business needs into functional requirements, participating in implementation and testing, and providing post-implementation support. You will also collaborate with multiple teams to drive cross-platform integrations and ensure product deliverable quality.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 2+ years of experience in web-related projects
  • Experience with Agile teams
  • Create UML / BPMN / flow diagrams
  • Create mockups using specialized tools
  • Read data in XML / JSON formats
  • Work with databases: create basic SQL requests
  • Work with API data
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Essential knowledge of web-services (REST, SOAP)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to be responsible for the end-to-end analysis process on Veeam internal projects. As a Business Analyst, you will be a key member of the Corporate Technology team, responsible for working with Web Team and multiple internal business teams to help them get the full value of the existing corporate technological environment. The scope of the role includes working with key team members and business stakeholders to interpret business needs and issues, translating those needs into actionable requirements, participating in design, implementation, and testing activities, and providing post-implementation support.

Your tasks will include:

  • Support strategic roadmap, maintain development backlog and establish functional requirements for our development team
  • Improve systems by studying current leading practices and designing modifications
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across regions/departments to collect, review, analyze, document, and prioritize business and system requirements
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems behind them to define problems and possible solutions. Make recommendation when applicable for scenario (process / performance) improvements
  • Translate business needs into understandable functional requirements
  • Actively participate in the implementation of new systems and features
  • Collaborate with multiple development teams to drive cross-platform integrations
  • Participate in project documentation development (use cases, business process diagrams, requirements storage, test scenarios, etc.)
  • Ensure product deliverables’ quality, such as (but not limited to) functional specifications, logical data design, UAT test plans, and completed solution

What we expect from you:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 2+ years of experience in web-related projects / with web services
  • Experience with working in cross-functional Agile teams
  • create UML / BPMN / flow diagrams and use cases
  • create mockups using specialized tools like Balsamiq
  • read data in XML / JSON formats
  • work with data bases: create basic SQL requests
  • work with API data to read and understand interaction methods between systems and ability to read data in XML/JSON formats
  • Experience with Agile (SCRUM), previous participation in agile projects
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Essential Knowledge of web-services (REST, SOAP) and modern integration patterns
