Business Analyst, Workflows

We’re looking to hire a Business Analyst, Workflows for a Fortune 500 global pharmaceutical client. Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Marketing  team to partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, channel build workflows, and identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization (digital channels, including email, web, and programmatic display).

This is a 12 – month contract + possible extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Mettawa, IL, and the role is on-site 3 days/week.Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.


Business Analyst, Workflows Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and create insightful measurements and dashboards that support project and task execution.
• Design, build, and optimize project templates, workflows, reports, and dashboards to align with organizational objectives.
• Work closely with IT and external vendors to integrate platforms and business systems.
• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and end-users, ensuring clear communication and alignment on platform enhancements and updates.
• Develop and deliver training sessions, create comprehensive documentation, and provide ongoing support to maximize user adoption and proficiency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving access and workflow challenges.

Business Analyst, Workflows Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end marketing content creation, measurement, and dashboard development.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Workfront configuration and utilization, with experience in other collaborative tools such as Smartsheet and Trello.
• Demonstrated experience in the build and execution of digital channels, including email, web, and programmatic display.
• Proven ability to effectively manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience in facilitating and supporting efficient content workflow processes.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at connecting with diverse teams, and skilled in documenting and capturing detailed requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong client service and communication skills, effectively bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and translate plans into successful execution, consistently exceeding stakeholder expectations and project goals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to provide effective training and support to users at all levels.

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Workfront, Smartsheet, and Veeva PromoMats, including system configuration, reporting, and workflow design.
• Power BI proficiency is highly desirable.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated understanding or rapid learning capability regarding pharmaceutical content supply chain processes, material review, content inventory management, and production planning.
