Job Description

This role is a Business Development Consultant focusing on new business sales for Google's advertising products. The position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or marketing and an MBA or equivalent experience. Responsibilities include working with new Google customers to educate them on advertising solutions, cultivating high-value prospects, securing new Google Ads clients, developing business strategies, and working with C-level customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to build a book of business and achieve strategic targets. The role involves presenting comprehensive advertising solutions and aligning business goals with sustainable Google advertising strategies. This is a full-time position at Google's Gurgaon, Haryana, India office, focusing on acquiring high-potential advertisers and integrating Google's marketing products into their strategies.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in sales or marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building a book of business, ensuring the management and fulfilment of strategic targets, and in developing associated agreements.
  • Sales experience in the internet advertising industry.
  • Ability to be proactive, organized, responsible, and work well with a team.
  • Ability to attain business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions over the video conference or face to face to high-end prospects.
  • Excellent problem solving skills to understand the client's agenda, structure the needs, and propose the appropriate solution.

Google’s New Business Sales Team is a group of sales professionals whose focus is on engaging and acquiring high potential advertisers, and subsequently persuading them to incorporate Google's excellent range of marketing products (i.e., YouTube and the Google Display Network) into their current Marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Work with new-to-Google customers to educate them on how to align their business goals to sustainable Google advertising solutions.
  • Cultivate a pipeline of high-value prospects for long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Secure new Google Ads for clients by presenting marketing solutions, and create relevant ad campaigns that maximize their returns.
  • Develop business strategies that optimize the market potential.
  • Work with C-level customers to understand their business needs and set appropriate data-backed expectations.
