This role involves supporting key projects, including market entries and high-value business development initiatives. The Business Development Manager will work closely with Commercial, Marketing, PMO, Product, Compliance, and other stakeholders to drive strategic growth and expansion. Responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing presentations, onboarding experts, compiling business requirements, supporting strategy development, and preparing business cases and budgets.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing
  • Experience in international expansion functions
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of Commercial KPIs
  • Experience in preparing P&L Budgets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player with self-motivation
  • Can-do attitude with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Understanding of product/project management processes
Good to have:
  • Experience within regulated online Sports Betting and Casino industries
  • Experience coordinating business requirements and mapping technical solutions
  • Experience implementing expansion strategies regionally or globally
  • Knowledge of other languages is a plus

Let’s start with the role

We are looking for a confident and passionate Business Development Manager to join Kaizen Gaming. You will be responsible for supporting key projects, ranging from market entries to high-value initiatives related to Business Development across the company. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with Commercial, Marketing, PMO, Product, Compliance as well as other key stakeholders across the organization.

As a Business Development  Manager, you will:
  • Conduct analysis and market research for new territories;
  • Prepare thorough reports and presentations on new markets/regions, and competitive positioning (product, services, marketing);
  • Identify and onboarding local industry experts as well as managing the delivery of detailed research and scopes of work;
  • Compile detailed business requirement documents, market research presentations, organize and coordinate cross-functional workshops;
  • Support the preparation of business strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders;
  • Prepare business cases and project budgets (P&L) to assist in strategic decision-making;
  • Be the go-to person for business affairs for every new market launch project;
  • Support Business Development operations (strategic planning, budgeting & resource planning and administration);
  • Undertake any other tasks as required by the Company from time to time.

What you'll bring:

  • 3-5 years experience in Business Development, Sales and Marketing or other international expansion-focused functions within B2C high-volume transactional industries, ideally within regulated online Sports Betting and Casino;
  • Experience in coordinating business requirements and mapping technical solutions within a continuously evolving industry;
  • Experience in working on and/or implementing expansion strategies either regionally or globally;
  • Strong analytical skills, a high degree of understanding of Commercial KPIs and experience in preparing P&L Budgets;
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, complex and rapidly changing environment;
  • A solid team player, self-motivated and able to motivate others;
  • A can-do attitude with attention to detail;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, particularly in the preparation of engaging presentations. Knowledge of any other languages is a plus;
  • Understanding of product and or project management processes.
