Wrike is a leading work management platform. We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our Expand sales department. This role involves working with experienced Account Managers and ISRs to identify and generate new business opportunities. BDRs are crucial in the early sales stages, driving revenue growth by expanding our customer base. We are looking for a passionate team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to Wrike's vision of empowering purposeful work.
Must have:
  • Supporting marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries
  • Identifying new prospects across the business of existing customers
  • Actively seeking out potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events
  • Assessing the suitability of potential clients by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making processes to ensure they are a good fit for Wrike
  • Conducting research on the prospect and their organisation and leverage thoughtful personalisation in your outreach across email, phone and LinkedIn
  • Qualifying prospects to help improve conversion rates from Discovery Call to Opportunity
  • Using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, and Salesforce
  • Working closely with other BDRs, Senior Sales Executives, and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging
  • Performing research on competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, product developments and lead acquisition methods
  • Analyzing customer personas and target audience demographics to generate leads
  • Compiling lists of potential leads to contact with information
  • Developing and implementing email campaigns to attract new leads
  • Collaborating with sales teams to identify and convert prospective customers
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 1+ years experience in a Sales Development or similar role in a B2B business
  • Positive and energetic phone skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated success of reaching monthly and quarterly targets
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Strong work ethic and a ‘Can Do’ attitude

The range below reflects the total on-target earnings (including base salary and performance-based bonus potential) for this full-time position and applies to all U.S. locations, excluding benefits and other incentives. The final offer within this range will consider factors such as the role, seniority level, geographic location, and employment contract type. An individual’s work location, unique skills, experience, and relevant educational background will also influence the final offer. For tailored compensation details based on your preferred location, please discuss with your recruiter during the hiring process.
