Job Description

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer II at Google Cloud, you'll be crucial in driving data-driven decisions. You will design, develop, and implement BI solutions providing insights to leadership. This involves architecting data marts, building efficient data pipelines, and automating reporting processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to delivering high-quality data solutions supporting growth objectives. Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to define KPIs, developing data infrastructure (SQL scripts, datasets, investigative models, dashboards), transforming data into insights through data modeling and automation, and leading projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality data and insights.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6+ years data modeling/visualization experience
SQL query writing
BI tool experience (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Data structure/pipeline design

Good to have:

Advanced degree in technical field
Cloud platform experience
Experience with sales operations/consulting
Scripting languages (Python, Go, JavaScript, HTML)
Statistical modeling/machine learning
Communication skills (technical & non-technical)

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in data modeling, developing data sets, or creating data visualizations.
Experience writing SQL queries.
Experience using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to create visualizations and dashboards.
Experience designing and building data structures, data pipelines, data marts, or data warehouses.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA, Master's degree, or other advanced degree in a technical or scientific field of study.
Experience in cloud-based data platforms and related BI services.
Experience supporting data-driven sales operations, consulting, or program management and strategic cross-functional BI initiatives in a cloud business.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or HTML for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Transform data into insights by developing data models, data marts, and automating reporting processes to provide leadership with key business and process performance.
Lead assigned projects from conceptualization to delivery and ensure data solutions offer high-quality data and insights to propel the growth of the business.
