Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to join the SMB Global Merchant Lending team. In this role you will be work closely with the leadership team, to develop and implement a range of commercial initiatives to drive the growth of the business, delivering on a scorecard of company and customer objectives and driving performance across the lending funnel.

• Partner with GML leadership to define and drive a strategic vision, along with helping to drive OKR/goals planning and tracking

• Own a scorecard of priority metrics, and develop activities and initiatives to deliver these

• Work Customer back to ensure Working Capital is a market leading lending propositions from PayPal’s SMB audience

• Be a thoughtful steward of the cultural values we strive for as a company (collaboration, innovation, inclusion, wellness) and an ambassador of for enterprise-wide activities  

Your day-to-day

• Tightly monitor and manage the lending funnel driving merchant engagement and conversion, building a strong understanding of performance gaps and opportunities.

• Understand the funding / lending needs of PayPal’s SMB base, and how best to serve them

• Align with Legal & Compliance functions to ensure the Working Capital product maintains strong regulatory fit

• Maintain a strong understanding of industry developments across markets operated in, identifying both risks and opportunities

• Use collated insights, to partner closely with Credit Risk, Analytics & Product teams to identify and implement strategies and actions that can optimize the e2e portfolio performance, and provide new avenues for growth

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$82500 to $187990
