Job Description
Tesla seeks a hardworking Business Operations Analyst to manage the day-to-day operations of the vehicle order lifecycle, from purchase order confirmation to delivery and revenue recognition. This role involves daily execution and coordination of operational aspects, responding to order inquiries, collaborating with sales and delivery teams to streamline the sales pipeline, ensuring data quality across various systems (SMP, Warp, AX, TMS, collections, etc.), investigating system discrepancies, and assisting with special projects and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional relationship-building skills, superior attention to detail, technological fluency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include backlog management, sales order delivery, revenue recognition, and participation in system testing.

Tesla is seeking someone hardworking and passionate about changing the world we live in, to successfully lead the day-to-day operations for the order life cycle from purchase order confirmation to delivery and revenue recognition.
As a Sales Operations Analyst at Tesla, you will be a strategic partner of the sales team and the go-to-person for all operational stakeholders, you will manage the order pipeline from booking to delivery and revenue recognition.
- Daily execution and coordination of all operational aspects of vehicle orders and deliveries, including new orders, backlog management, sales order delivery, and revenue recognition.
- Responds to general order-related inquiries from different departments throughout the organization
- Collaborate with the Sales and Delivery teams to continue to develop and streamline the sales pipeline management
- Ensures quality of data in the different systems like SMP, Warp, AX, TMS, collections, etc.
- Investigates system discrepancies quickly and finalizes solutions
- Assist with special projects and data analysis as needed
- Participates in testing of new and updated system logic and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative cross-functional relationships
- Self-starter who is goal-oriented, highly motivated and also able to follow instructions
- Superior attention to detail
- Technological fluency and ability to operate within internal business systems and MS Office with moderate skills in MS Excel
- Strong desire to take initiative, eager to learn, result-oriented and creative thinker
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, multitask and prioritize appropriately, organizing tasks and processes, and tracking findings and deliverables
- English and other local languages are required
