This Business Operations Specialist role focuses on optimizing business processes related to business development and ensuring key account growth. It bridges business relationship management (BRM) with operational strategy, demanding strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, development) to resolve client issues, identify new business opportunities, analyze and improve operational processes, develop and implement optimization strategies, and create reports using KPIs. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in business operations, account management, or customer success and possess strong analytical and communication skills. The position offers a fully remote, hybrid, or on-site option.

Job Details
Business Operations Specialist
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in business operations, account management, or customer success.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills including active listening and detail observation.
Develop trusted advisor relationships and collaborate with high-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
Demonstrate initiative, working with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, and development) to resolve client issues and deliver on expectations.
Identify new business opportunities with new leads or existing clients, linking areas of improvement by understanding their needs and aligning them with our solutions.
Extra credit:
German speaking – for better interaction through our German headquarters in Augsburg.
Experience in the custom software development industry; experience in the EU/ US markets.
Knowledge of data visualization tools & CRM from Microsoft Suite (e.g. Power BI, Dynamics).
Demonstrable experience of analyzing and improve operational processes related to business development to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, reporting, and resource allocation.
Work collaboratively in Figma, to augment existing or create new presentation materials.
Leverage data insights through KPIs, to generate reports on account health and process improvements, ensuring alignment with company goals.
