Job Description

The Business Operations Specialist role is to streamline operations and remove administrative roadblocks for the Ramsey Education curriculum. The person in this role manages contracts and legal documents, works closely with the legal team, supports vendor and state education agreements, and keeps internal policy records up to date. They also assist the team with bids, forms, and finance-related tasks like NetSuite support, all while identifying ways to improve internal processes and helping the department stay ahead of schedule on administrative needs.
Must have:
  • 2-4 years of experience in administrative operations
  • Experience with contracts and legal documents.
Good to have:
  • Experience with NetSuite and A/R processes is a plus.

Location: Franklin, TN—on-site, relocation assistance available, flexible schedules available

 

Salary: $44,200-$65,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits

*Range depends on skill level and overall experience.

What You’d Do in This Role:

This role exists to streamline operations and remove administrative roadblocks so the Ramsey Education curriculum can reach more students. The person in this role manages contracts and legal documents, works closely with the legal team, supports vendor and state education agreements, and keeps internal policy records up to date. They also assist the team with bids, forms, and finance-related tasks like NetSuite support, all while identifying ways to improve internal processes and helping the department stay ahead of schedule on administrative needs.

 

You’re Probably a Match If:

  • You have 2–4 years of experience in administrative operations, contract coordination, or supporting teams in the education sector.
  • You’ve worked with contracts and legal documents, including vendor forms, bids, and agreements, and know how to complete them accurately.
  • You communicate clearly, work well with others, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • You're comfortable using digital tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office products; experience with NetSuite and A/R processes is a plus.

  • Legal documents and vendor agreements are completed quickly and accurately, minimizing risk to the company.
  • The team stays ahead of schedule on administrative tasks, thanks to proactive support and smooth processes.
  • Contracts and policy documents are organized, up to date, and easy to access when needed.
  • Internal systems and workflows run more efficiently because of thoughtful recommendations and a willingness to jump in wherever help is needed.
