Job Description

Veeam is looking for a C# Developer to join the team that develops internal tools for automating development processes. The responsibilities include working on tooling to automate aspects of the development process, developing tools for optimizing, automating, and monitoring the code build process, improving the process of creating and publishing build artifacts, and creating static code analyzers to improve code quality. The role also involves improving build configurations of .NET projects, working with MSBuild internals.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or IT
  • Good knowledge of the C# language
  • Understanding of the .NET platform, data structures, algorithms
  • Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency
  • Familiarity with Git for version control
  • Understanding of software design principles
  • English proficiency for international teams
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of basic code structure principles
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience developing NuGet packages
  • Experience using containers (Docker, Podman)

We are looking for a C# Developer to join the team that develops internal tools for automating development processes.

Your tasks will include:

  • Working on tooling to automate different aspects of the development process
  • Developing tools for optimizing, automating, and monitoring the code build process
  • Improving the process of creating and publishing build artifacts 
  • Creating static code analyzers to improve code quality
  • Improving build configurations of .NET projects, working with MSBuild internals

Technologies we work with:

C#, .Net 8, Azure DevOps, MSBuild, etc.

What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Good knowledge of the C# language
  • A deep understanding of the .NET platform, data structures, and algorithms
  • Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency, including shared resources, synchronization, etc.
  • Familiarity with version control concepts and practical experience with Git, including committing, merging, conflict resolution, and rebasing
  • Understanding of software design principles
  • English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams

Will be an advantage:

  • Knowledge of basic code structure principles: coupling/cohesion, dependency inversion, N-layer architecture, and clean architecture
  • Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines for Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, etc.
  • Experience in developing and publishing your own NuGet packages
  • Experience using containers (Docker, Podman) for development
