Job Description

Nielsen seeks an Architect to shape the architectural vision and strategy for client delivery applications. This role involves designing robust and scalable software architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, building prototypes for customer validation, resolving technical incidents, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software architecture, building cloud solutions, defining architectural standards, and driving innovation. The Architect will work within an international team across the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Must have:

4-6 years experience as lead/senior developer in agile teams
3-6 years experience as architect in agile teams
Develop and maintain software architecture
Design scalable, efficient cloud solutions
Collaborate with product owners and development teams
Define and enforce architectural standards

About the role

You’ll be working within an international group of teams which span from the US, Europe, Asia(including India) and Australia. This team is responsible for building our Client Delivery Applications.

As an Architect you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision and strategy for our client delivery applications.Your primary responsibility is to design robust and scalable client delivery software architectures that align with business objectives and product goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring the successful execution of our client delivery framework

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software architecture, ensuring it meets current and future business needs.
Lead the design of scalable, efficient, and cost-effective cloud software solutions
Build rapid technical prototypes for early customer validation
Rapidly identify and resolve technical incidents as they emerge
Collaborate with product owner to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, providing leadership in the design and architecture of our client delivery framework
Collaborate with development teams to implement cloud-based solutions
Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and methodologies for client delivery software development.
Drive innovation in our software design, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Key Skills: Domain Expertise

4-6 years of experience as a lead / senior developer in agile teams
3-6 years of experience as an architect in agile teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
