Project description
For one of the largest banks we are looking for Senior Team member to help the bank to implement new technologies and speed up the delivery on various projects.
Responsibilities
Serve as a functional expert with in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end business processes within the Calypso Application.
Collaborate with Business and Support Unit stakeholders, including the Product Owner, to analyze and refine business requirements, leading to the creation of functional specifications and detailed user stories.
Recommend improvements to work processes and propose efficient methods for task delivery.
Lead discussions and presentations on domain-related topics in relevant forums.
Assist in the implementation of project/application/service architectures and propose necessary modifications.
Identify pain points and provide high-level solution proposals.
Conduct research to assess whether existing solutions in Calypso meet requirements or if customization is needed.
Strengthen the functional testing strategy and contribute to the definition and execution of testing activities.
Contribute to the functional enhancement of products by analyzing business usage metrics.

Skills
Must have
4-7 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst specializing in Calypso Application.
Good knowledge of Calypso platform functions, including settlements (SWIFT), accounting, settlement instructions, BO positions, and related customizations.
String Knowledge of capital markets products such as Fixed Income, Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, and both Listed and OTC Derivatives.
Ability to troubleshoot and think creatively to design and propose solutions.
Demonstrated ownership and influence over project outcomes.
Self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive issues to closure.
Hands-on experience with SQL for analysis and a basic understanding of Unix commands and shell scripting.
Strong analytical abilities and exceptional communication skills are essential.
Experience in Working in Agile development teams on backlog stories to develop/enhance/customize the Calypso application
Assist with strategic (bank) initiatives to develop capabilities
Nice to have
Good understanding of Run the Bank/Change the Bank function for the Calypso platform
