Job Summary

Job Description

The Catalog Analyst will be responsible for creating, maintaining, validating, and publishing aftermarket automotive parts electronic catalog data. This includes ensuring accurate part information databases compliant with Product Information Exchange Standards (PIES) and maintaining accurate part application databases adhering to Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standards (ACES). The role requires managing customer audits, addressing inquiries, identifying catalog improvement opportunities, and ensuring the catalog meets end-customer needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align data and timing with internal and external expectations. This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills and requires at least 75 words.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of automotive aftermarket catalog experience
  • Understanding of ACES/PIES cataloging standards
  • Background in vehicle parts knowledge and OEM evaluation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Access, SharePoint)
Good to have:
  • ASE Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Interchange experience

Job purpose

PHINIA is currently seeking an automotive parts Catalog Analyst with aftermarket experience who will work as a member of the catalog team to ensure that mapping to ACES/PIES standards, interchanges, and all associated product information is accurate and complete within the electronic catalog.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, validate, and publish aftermarket automotive parts electronic catalog data.
  • Establish and maintain accurate part information databases compliant with Product Information Exchange Standards (PIES).
  • Establish and maintain accurate part application databases, adhering to published Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standards (ACES) and customer requirements.
  • Be responsive and proactive in managing customer audits and requests. Review and address customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the catalog data
  • Ensure the catalog meets the needs of the end customer, making it easier to navigate, search for, and purchase products
  • Regular interface with cross-functional teams, including category, engineering, and product to ensure that catalog data and timing aligns with internal and external expectations and standards.

What we’re looking for

Required:

  • 2+ years automotive aftermarket experience as a catalog professional in North America.
  • Understanding of ACES/PIES North American cataloging standards
  • Background in vehicle parts knowledge, automotive part fitment, OEM, and competitive part evaluation
  • Strong analytical, organizational and research skills
  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Teams, Outlook, Excel, Access, and SharePoint)

Preferred:

  • ASE Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Interchange experience
