Falcon’s is currently hiring asset artists at all seniority levels to be the visual storytellers responsible for creating stunning and immersive 3D assets that bring themed entertainment environments to life. Your role will involve collaborating with creative teams to design and produce assets that seamlessly integrate with the overall theme, contributing to an unforgettable guest experience.
Essential Functions
- Conceptualization and Design:
- Collaborate with art directors and designers to conceptualize and design 3D assets that align with the theme and narrative of the entertainment venue.
- Translate conceptual ideas into detailed 3D models.
- Modeling and Texturing:
- Create high-quality 3D models of props, characters, and environments that meet the artistic and technical requirements of the project.
- Apply textures and materials to assets, ensuring they match the visual style and theme of the entertainment experience.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other artists, animators, and developers to ensure a cohesive and visually stunning overall experience.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from cross-functional teams and incorporate changes to enhance visual impact.
- Optimization:
- Optimize 3D assets for real-time rendering and performance in game engines.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure assets are efficiently integrated into the game engine or interactive systems.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of assets in various scenarios to identify and address any visual issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all assets and visual elements within 3D environments.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about the latest trends in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering techniques within the entertainment and gaming industry.
- Continuously explore new tools and technologies to enhance the visual fidelity of themed entertainment assets.
- School and/ or previous related work experience in Fine Arts, Digital Arts, Animation, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a 3D artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality and diverse assets.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software Maya, and texture creation tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of artistic principles, design, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
- Will not require Falcon’s Beyond Global, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
- Experience with real-time rendering engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).
- Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) development.
- Knowledge of theme park or themed entertainment industry trends.
