This Channel Director role in the UK and Ireland is an exciting opportunity to lead channel transformation, focusing on a risk-centric approach to human vulnerability. You will work with innovative partners, delivering Mimecast’s integrated platform for threat protection, training, insider risk management, and compliance. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional leaders and shaping how companies address human risk, driving Mimecast’s growth through various partner types.
Must have:
  • Design and deliver UKI channel growth strategy.
  • Build lasting relationships with top-tier partners.
  • Lead and inspire a team of Partner Managers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on channel initiatives.
  • Represent Mimecast as a thought leader in the partner ecosystem.
  • Possess senior leadership experience in channel sales (SaaS/cybersecurity).

We're looking for a dynamic, strategic, and people-driven Channel Director to spearhead our partner go-to-market initiatives across the UK and Ireland. This is your chance to shape the future of the channel landscape by accelerating Mimecast’s growth through distribution, resellers, SIs, MSPs, and MSSPs — while also helping partners and their customers stay one step ahead of cyber threats.

  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional leaders, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, with direct visibility from our VP of EMEA Partners and UKI Sales Leadership.
  • Most importantly, you’ll shape how companies think about and act on human risk.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

Design and deliver an ambitious channel growth strategy for the UKI region, focusing on scale, enablement, and partner success.

Partner Engagement

Build lasting relationships with top-tier partners. Be their trusted advisor by aligning Mimecast’s solutions with their business models and goals.

Team Leadership

Inspire and guide a team of Partner Managers and virtual contributors. Mentor, motivate, and create a winning culture of performance and impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Unite internal teams to drive high-impact channel initiatives. Ensure alignment on messaging, execution, and innovation.

Thought Leadership

Be the voice of Mimecast in the partner ecosystem. Speak at industry events, lead discussions, and share insights on the future of cybersecurity and human risk.

What You’ll Bring

  • Senior leadership experience in channel sales within a fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity environment
  • Strong grasp of human risk factors in security – from phishing to insider threats
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence across matrixed organizations
  • Track record of building scalable partner ecosystems and driving net-new business growth
  • Experience with Salesforce and modern GTM tools
  • Passion for mentoring, coaching, and empowering teams
  • Comfort navigating across enterprise and mid-market segments
  • Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland to support partners and events

The OTE salary range for this position is £168,000- £252,000 + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
