Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy Development: Define and execute category growth strategies for the PC components business (e.g. PSU, Case, Furniture, Cooling)  on Amazon, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of PC component products on Amazon, from product selection, pricing, and promotion to end-of-life decisions.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth by optimizing product listings, analysing competitor activity, and identifying new product opportunities. Develop and manage promotional calendars, ensuring timely and impactful campaigns.
  • Forecasting: Ensuring alignment between supply and demand for Amazon within the hubs. Factoring in Peak periods and seasonality in line with product lifecycles. 
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and avoid overstock situations. Monitor product availability and sales performance to make data-driven decisions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse key performance metrics, including sales data, customer feedback, and inventory trends, to identify areas of opportunity and recommend action plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Channel Marketing Managers, operations, sales and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of category plans and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in category management, e-commerce, or product management within the consumer electronics or PC components space, preferably with Amazon expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, managing product assortments, and executing successful promotions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Passion for the PC components industry and a solid understanding of market trends, consumer needs, and competitor activity.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with Amazon operations. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and numbers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in working with international markets and understanding of global supply chains.
