The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing co-marketing strategies within selected channel accounts (distributors and/or resellers) across the META region (Middle East, Turkey, and Africa). This includes defining marketing plans, setting KPIs, managing budgets, and coordinating initiatives such as co-marketing campaigns, sales training, and content creation. The role requires collaboration with global and regional marketing teams, as well as the Sales team, to achieve commercial growth targets. Continuous analysis of marketing campaign effectiveness and seeking to optimize the return on investment are key responsibilities.

Job Details

Selling to, with and through our partners is an imperative of our go-to-market strategy. The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering effectful and targeted co-marketing within selected channel accounts (distributors and / or resellers) across the META (Middle East, Turkey and Africa) region. 

As our new Channel Marketing Manager, you will report to the Head of Regional Marketing and have a dotted line to the Regional Marketing Manager of META, to ensure full alignment and delivery of the overall regional marketing plan, including final sign-off.

You will be responsible for the development of the channel marketing plans in alignment with the commercial growth targets and defines measurable KPIs. Together with the Regional Marketing Manager you will manage the channel marketing budget and where relevant, also manage the channel ‘market development funds’/alternative incentive funds. 

You will execute the tactics in accordance with the plans and continuously seek to optimize performance with the selected channel partners. For the selected channel accounts, the Channel Marketing Manager is the daily point of contact, all things marketing. You will be responsible for ensuring that key product, business, and partner program messages are received by the channel partners and adaptation and usage of the partner portal optimized with the partner. 

The role requires extensive engagement with the global and regional marketing teams, as well as with the Sales team – including the Channel Business Managers, whom will be the primary stakeholder to collaborate with to grow the channel accounts.

Key Responsibilities

As the Channel Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Define the annual marketing plans with the channel partner in alignment with the Regional Marketing Manager 
  • Define the Marketing KPIs and targets in alignment with the plan. This should reflect overall growth targets (revenue) and specific targets for key marketing tactics. 
  • Deliver effective channel marketing initiatives across META as per agreed business objectives. Collaborate with Partner Marketing team and support execution where possible. This includes but is not limited to: co-marketing campaigns, sales training programs, content on the partner portal and sales promotions.
  • Facilitate the production of case studies with the named partners to drive channel sales and awareness and meet co-marketing goals. This is done together with the subject matter experts and program owner from Global Marketing
  • Manage the budget for specific channel partners – always seeking to win business and optimize return of investment with the partner. The Regional Marketing Manager oversees the management of the marketing budget
  • In line with global standards, monitors and analyzes key performance metrics across the accounts to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Your Profile 

As our new Channel Marketing Manager, we hope you bring valuable experience working both with marketing activation but also developing and executing on channel marketing plans including managing budgets.

Furthermore, we hope you see yourself in most of the below:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing or related business field
  • Experienced B2B marketeer with demonstrated success in driving growth in a two-tier channel model
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience working across the META region
  • Extensive experience in channel marketing from larger corporations, including management of market development funds (MDF)
  • Experience from the tech and/or software industry
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms for tracking and reporting on performance
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Arabic or French desired
